Job Description
Role: Landscape Construction Estimator
Location: Remote (Latam)
Working Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST
Monthly Salary: $1500 $2500 USD
About the Role:
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Landscape Construction Estimator to join our remote team. This role is ideal for candidates located in Latin America with a strong background in landscape construction civil engineering or related fields. You will play a critical role in developing cost estimates preparing bids and supporting project from planning through completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform landscape design takeoffs and analyze project plans
- Create detailed cost estimates for labor materials and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost book of uptodate pricing
- Prepare competitive bid packages and professional proposals
- Track and monitor project costs for job costing and financial accuracy
- Review and ensure compliance with project specifications and submittals
- Oversee material procurement and coordination with suppliers
- Manage all project documentation including contracts change orders and plans
Requirements:
- Background in landscape construction civil engineering or construction management
- 2 years of experience in estimating or project coordination
- Strong knowledge of reading blueprints and technical plans
- Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong Excel and project management software proficiency
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with construction or landscaping standards
- Experience with estimation tools like PlanSwift Bluebeam or similar software
- Prior experience working with U.S. clients or teams
