Senior Backend Developer
Location: Remote (PH or SA preferred)
Compensation: Competitive salary potential equity

About the Role
We are looking for experienced and passionate Senior Backend Developers to join a fastgrowing SaaS scaleup on a mission to transform the real estate and hospitality space. This is a unique opportunity to work on highimpact products used by enterprise clients around the globe.
You ll be part of a talented and diverse engineering organization where more than half the team is dedicated to product design and development. The work spans multiple functional areas including finance distribution booking and inventory systems all built with cuttingedge technologies and high standards for quality performance and scalability.
There are multiple open positions across three backendfocused teams. Whether youre passionate about building robust finance systems rearchitecting data distribution platforms or enhancing core booking infrastructure theres a spot for you to make a meaningful impact.
What You ll Do
- Design develop and maintain backend systems for complex SaaS applications.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams frontend product QA and design to define and implement technical solutions.
- Enhance and maintain Railsbased applications and services supporting enterprisegrade use cases.
- Contribute to the rebuild and expansion of core systems such as channel distribution and booking/inventory platforms.
- Integrate with thirdparty services including payment gateways booking platforms and financial APIs.
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and performance through thoughtful architecture and validation practices.
- Take ownership of code quality conduct peer reviews and advocate for engineering best practices.
- Build secure scalable and welldocumented APIs including GraphQL where appropriate.
- Use productivityenhancing tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) to write clean and efficient code.
Tech Stack & Teams
Finance Team:
- Focus: Billing invoicing and accounting systems handling hundreds of thousands of transactions.
- Stack: Primarily Elixir.
Distribution Team:
- Focus: Syncing listings calendars and bookings with platforms like Airbnb and Expedia.
- Stack: Transitioning from Ruby to .
Booking & Inventory Team:
- Focus: Booking logic inventory controls automation features.
- Stack: Ruby.
What We re Looking For
- 5 years of professional backend development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one MVC web framework (Ruby on Rails is a strong plus).
- Strong grasp of API development architecture and thirdparty integrations.
- Experience building and scaling SaaS platforms ideally for enterprise users.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with Git CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
- Passion for clean code performance optimization and problemsolving.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and nontechnical teams.
- Bonus: GraphQL experience Elixir familiarity or experience with distributed systems.
