Job Description

Atmen is a Munichbased RegTech startup revolutionising green certification. Our SaaS platform helps energyintensive industries (fuels chemicals materials) automate compliance and certificationcutting down time by up to 90.

We replace todays manual costly and unpredictable certification processes with continuous technologydriven verification. Our mission Making sustainable production simple scalable and costeffective.

As Commercial Lead / Head of Sales you will build and scale the revenue engine of a categorydefining climate tech company. Working directly with the CEO and working closely with our product marketing and regulatory teams you will own the sales strategy and lead the executionfrom refining ICPs to closing deals with producers traders and certifiers of sustainable fuels and energyintensive goods.

You will be both strategist and practitioner designing our gotomarket playbook while managing earlystage customer relationships and leading them through the full commercial cycle.

Tasks

  • Design and execute Atmens sales strategy across segments and geographies
  • Own the full customer funnel: from qualified lead to signed customer
  • Define and refine ICPs outreach messaging and value proposition
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with GTM objectives
  • Qualify and close strategic deals in coordination with the CEO (NB: this isnt just a head of role Atmens Commercial Lead gets to spend time with customers and in Hubspot)
  • Build scalable processes: CRM hygiene forecasting reporting
  • Act as voice of customer internally to inform product development
  • Lay the foundation for future sales hires and team structure
  • Represent Atmen at industry events and in key customer interactions

Requirements

Were looking for a smart ambitious commercial leader who thrives in ambiguity moves fast and can build strong relationships in complex B2B environments.

You may be a fit if you bring:

  • 5 years of experience in B2B sales BD or GTM roles in SaaS energy or compliancefocused sectors
  • A track record of closing highvalue or complex deals (ideally in regulated or technical environments)
  • Ability to design and influence sales processes not just execute them
  • Confidence in leading customer conversations with technical or Clevel stakeholders
  • Curiosity and empathy to understand a customers real pain points and particularly: love for industrial B2B customers (yes for better and worse!
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English (German French Spanish are a plus)
  • A personal drive to contribute to climate solutions and industrial decarbonization

Job requirements:

  • Availability: FullTime
  • Valid working permit in EU
  • Fluency in English German or Spanish are a plus.
  • Willingness to regularly work in our office in Munich Germany.
