Job Description
TJob Title: Graphic Designer (Open Source Projects)
Location: Science City Road Ahmedabad
Salary: 25000/month
Experience: 12 years
About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and passionate Graphic Designer with a strong interest in opensource projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and design of efficient systems for managing students faculty courses and classes in educational institutions like universities colleges and schools. You will work with a dynamic team to create visually appealing userfriendly designs for various interfaces and platforms while adhering to opensource principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design engaging userfriendly interfaces for educational platforms (web and mobile).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs align with functionality usability and opensource standards.
- Create graphics icons and other visual elements that contribute to a seamless user experience.
- Work on maintaining and improving the visual design of dashboards reports and management systems for students faculties and courses.
- Participate in brainstorming and collaborative meetings to improve platform usability and aesthetics.
- Stay updated on design trends opensource technologies and educational technology to bring innovative ideas to the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in graphic design or UI/UX design.
- Proficient in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator XD) or similar tools.
- Understanding of opensource principles and willingness to work within opensource platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing graphic design user interfaces and other relevant design work.
- Knowledge of web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to communicate design ideas clearly and effectively to team members.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript) is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with design systems wireframing and prototyping.
- Interest or experience in educational technology and opensource platforms.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
