The Business Development Manager (BDM) will play a crucial role of focusing on driving growth increasing revenue and expanding the business. They will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building strategic partnerships and expanding our client base across domestic and international markets. He/she will play a key role in developing and executing growth strategies managing key accounts and promoting our travel products and services to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify opportunities.
Create and manage business plans budgets and forecasts.
Sales and Marketing
Identify and pursue new business opportunities partnerships and collaborations.
Build and maintain relationships with existing clients suppliers and partners.
Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.
Product Development
Collaborate with the product team to develop new tour packages products and services.
Conduct market research to identify gaps and opportunities in the market.
Develop and implement product development strategies to enhance the companys offerings.
Revenue Growth
Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue.
Identify opportunities to upsell and crosssell products and services.
Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
Team Management
Hire Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals.
Provide training coaching and guidance to team members.
Monitor and evaluate team performance to identify areas for improvement.
Industry Networking
Attend industry events conferences and trade shows to network and build relationships.
Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners suppliers and associations.
Stay uptodate with industry trends developments and best practices.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor and analyze sales performance revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities
Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial reports.
Collaborate with other departments such as operations and customer service.
Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and industry regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 15years of experience in business development sales or marketing in the tour and travel Industrial working with reputable organizations.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing business development strategies increasing revenue and expanding market share.
Bachelors degree: In Business Administration Marketing Tourism Hospitality or a related field.
Masters degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (preferred).
Certification in tour and travel.
