Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie for a luxury private game reserve located in the heart of the Eastern Cape. This is an exceptional opportunity for a culinary professional with a strong background in fine dining and a flair for innovation.
Minimum Requirements:
Diploma or formal qualification in Culinary Arts
Completed commercial cookery apprenticeship or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in upmarket cuisine
Previous experience in a 5star lodge or hotel in the same role
Valid food handler health card or HACCP/Food Safety certificate
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and produce highquality authentic and innovative cuisine
Support kitchen management to ensure readiness before each service shift
Stay current with industry standards and changes in procedures
Maintain proper handling and care of all kitchen tools equipment and machinery
Follow all food preparation and presentation standards to ensure a toptier guest experience
Assist in maintaining comprehensive kitchen records
Comply with all food safety health and security regulations in line with local legislation
Collaborate across kitchen sections to support seamless operations and guest satisfaction
Required Competencies:
Strong verbal communication in English
Proficient in GAAP POS and Microsoft Excel
Sound understanding of food costing and waste control
Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure
Sober habits and professional conduct
Driver s license preferred
Solid understanding of Food & Beverage service
