Job Description
Store Incharge also known as a Store Executive or Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of a retail store ensuring smooth functioning and maximizing profitability. Key responsibilities include managing inventory maintaining stock levels ensuring customer service and supervising staff.
Key Responsibilities of a Store Incharge:
Inventory Management:
Receiving storing and organizing inventory.
Maintaining accurate records of stock levels.
Assisting in inventory management processes.
Monitoring minimum stock levels and ordering new inventory.
Ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock.
Managing the movement of goods in and out of the store.
Customer Service:
Providing exceptional customer service.
Resolving customer complaints and concerns.
Ensuring staff are trained to provide highquality customer service.
Supervising Staff:
Supervising and managing store staff including scheduling and performance evaluations.
Motivating and training staff to achieve sales goals.
Store Operations:
Ensuring the store is clean organized and visually appealing.
Managing store displays and visual merchandising.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures including safety and security measures.
Managing store opening and closing procedures.
Handling documentation and maintaining records.
Sales and Profitability:
Working to increase sales and achieve profitability goals.
Planning and executing promotions and sales events.
Analyzing sales data and making recommendations for improvements.
Other Tasks:
Handling returns exchanges and other customer transactions.
Coordinating with other departments such as purchasing and logistics.
Ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping for all transactions and activities.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Experience in inventory management and retail operations.
Ability to supervise and motivate staff.
Strong customer service skills.
Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Familiarity with retail POS systems and software.
