This position will report to National Sales Manager.
Primary Function/Objective:
The principal responsibility is to assure consistent sales achievement in assigned territory by providing quality products & service developing technical & selling skills to ensure customers needs are met and identifying opportunities for business within the territory while maintaining existing business.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Provide sales information to the National Sales Manager each month to support the development of proposed forecasts.
- Work with the National Sales Manager to develop and execute sales plans once the proposed forecast is approved.
- Implement product sales strategies to ensure sales goals and targets are achieved.
- Utilize selling skills to ensure customer needs are met and territory sales targets are achieved through regular customer contact.
- Identify new business opportunities and gain new or expanded business within the territory while maintaining existing business.
- Develop and communicate daily weekly & monthly plans and results; cycle goals sales targets and results to Sales and Marketing Management.
- Communicate market intelligence to Sales and Marketing Management.
- Attend marketing activities conferences health talks exhibitions booth and trade displays as required.
- Conduct video showings/slide presentations/inservice/trials/market research and advocate speaker meetings with the customer base as required.
- Ensure all activities in the territory are executed professionally and comply with AbbVie standards and Code of Conduct.
- Develop and maintain territory and customer records.
- Attend regular departmental meetings with the manager to build continuous feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications :
Education Experience/Qualification:
- Hematology or Oncology (Solid tumor)relative experience is a must.
- Listing experience or new product launch experience is a key plus.
- Build strong relationships with peers and crossfunctionally and with partners outside of the team to enable higher performance.
- Motivates and can influence others including those over whom they have no direct authority.
- Strong professional knowledge selling skills territory management and .
- Agility and accountability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
