Job Description
STV currently has opening fora Superintendent in the Construction Management group in New York City.
This is a SECOND SHIFT position.

We consistently rank among the countrys top 25 firms in education corrections highways bridges rail and mass transit. Throughout the United States and in Canada STVs professional technical and support personnel offer services to a broad and everexpanding client base. We provide planning environmental design program and construction management and specialty services for the transportation designbuild institutional and commercial building advanced technology industrial and defense markets.
We are a seeking a Superintendent for our New York NY location.
Primary Responsibilities: Coordinate schedule and manage all subcontractors and vendors expedite vendors and subcontractors on a daily and weekly basis and identify and resolve construction problems as they develop.
Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records. Supervise selfperform work and develop special construction methods for job efficiency.
Manage material receiving ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality and that the receiving tickets are properly signed coded and filed accordingly.
Help comply with all jobsite reporting requirements including daily reports field purchase orders weekly unit reports weekly updates to the two week lookaheads and monthly updates to the construction schedule.
Familiarize yourself with shop drawing and submittals and help project managers comply with the submittal schedule contract documents and company reporting requirements.
Attend required jobsite meetings.

Maintain quality consistent with the company standards.
Experience:
Education Certification: Bachelors degree in engineering Architecture Construction Management
A minimum of 8 Years of related experience in the construction field.
Prior NYC public agency SCA and or NYCA experience is preferred but not required.
Four 4 years must have been involved in managing all phases of construction work on a scale and scope similar to the Work envisioned under this Agreement; or a comparable combination of education and experience; Shall have the ability to understand and interpret contract documents such as specifications drawings and shop drawings; Shall have experience in new and renovation type construction

Compensation Range:
