The WSLCB Finance Division is announcing an exciting opportunity for a Fiscal Analyst 2 position inOlympia WA.This position serves and complements the mission of the WSLCB by providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers. This position complies with all laws and rules federal policies and regulations state policies and regulations governed by the Office of Financial Management (OFM) Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and WSLCB policies/procedures related to accounting. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide timely and accurate financial data ensuring efficiency and maximum benefit of state resources.
As a Fiscal Analyst 2 (FA2 in the General Accounting Unit you will perform a variety of accounts receivable duties. Your main responsibility will be to process incoming payments received through the mail complete daily deposits receive electronic funds transfers (EFTs) and record the cash receipts. The General Accounting Units responsibilities include accounts payable accounts receivable travel and asset management.

Primary Duties Include:
Option 1
Five 5 years of professional experience in an area related to financial fiscal accounting auditing budgeting or payroll andincluding 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in collegelevel accounting auditing or budgeting credits ora commitment toattain the required credit hours in 18 months.
Option 2
An associates degree in a financialrelated field or business administration which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting auditing or budgeting ora commitment toattain the required credit hours in 18 monthsandthree 3 year of professional experience in an area related to financial fiscal accounting auditing budgeting or payroll.
Option 3
A bachelors degree or above in a financialrelated field or business administration which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting auditing or budgeting ora commitment toattain the required credit hours in 18 monthsandone 1 year of professional experience in an area related to financial fiscal accounting auditing budgeting or payroll.Our ideal candidate will also have the following desired qualifications:
