Bridge Engineer
North Vancouver

We are looking for a Bridge Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with a team of experts working alongside our customers on some of North Americas most significant projects. Together with customers partners and colleagues we create solutions where people and societies grow and flourish. We do that by cocreating sustainable and beautiful solutions that improve the quality of life for people today and many generations ahead.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Perform structural analysis design and evaluation and be responsible for the preparation of calculations drawings work plans schedules and budgets
  • Prepare standard documents such as technical specifications under applicable design codes along with engineering reports and other technical documents
  • Liaise with other professionals clients and third parties as needed
  • Coordinate with CAD and BIM modellers to bring our clients vision to reality.
  • To go on inspections and site visits in the lower mainland.

On top of that you will:

  • Hold a Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or higher with a minimum of 6years of related experience in Bridge Design or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Be a registered Professional Engineer in home province or state or ability to obtain registrations within 12 months of employment
  • Be familiar with the use of structural design codes such as CSA:S6 and/or AASHTO along with having sufficient exposure to structural analysis software programs (ex: CSiBridge MIDAS SOFiSTiK)
  • Be conversant in the use of engineering software such as Mathcad or Excel to efficiently produce engineering calculations
  • Possess a Class 5 drivers licence

Base compensation: $90000 to $123000 for North Vancouver location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education experience skill set and/or location.
