Job Description
Lawn & Grounds Associate
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lawn and Grounds Associate to join our team. This individual will primarily focus on lawn care and landscaping maintenance across multiple properties in Omaha and Lincoln. The role also involves assisting with various facilities maintenance tasks as needed. For those interested in a yearround position winter grounds maintenance duties such as snow removal and property upkeep will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular lawn care and landscaping maintenance including mowing trimming edging mulching and ornamental landscaping.
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the properties including litter trash etc.
- Assist with miscellaneous facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs replacing light bulbs and addressing property upkeep needs as they arise.
- Support the Facility Maintenance Manager with basic maintenance projects and upkeep.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain a professional courteous attitude and contribute to a positive guest and team experience.
- Conduct snow removal and deicing during inclement weather to ensure safe and accessible walkways.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall maintenance and upkeep of the properties.
Qualifications:
- Experience in lawn care landscaping or grounds maintenance.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of property presentation.
- Basic maintenance skills are a plus.
- Reliable punctual and selfmotivated.
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel between Omaha and Lincoln properties.
