These talent acquisition specialists partner closely with AWS leaders to understand technical and operational requirements driving candidate generation strategies and maintaining high hiring standards. This structure supported by strategic talent acquisition efforts enables Amazon to scale its AWS Infrastructure Services operations effectively while adapting to evolving customer needs and technologies.
Successful technical sourcers on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks forecasting and tracking against metrics and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with hiring teams to execute sourcing and assessment approaches
Source passive candidates through various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter internal databases and Boolean search techniques
Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive market research
Track and report on key sourcing metrics and hiring funnel data
Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments
Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS
Support recruitment events and initiatives

3 years of technical recruiting in high volume and high hiring bar environment experience
3 years of passive candidate generation experience
Experience with content management systems/applicant tracking systems for sourcing tracking and managing candidates
Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches projects and client relationships
Experience creating measuring and scaling workflow among candidates hiring managers and the recruiting team
Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events technology mixers and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $138700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
