Givaudan Flavor Ingredients (GFI) leverages decades of experience in ingredients to assist flavor companies in their product formulation. As a part of Givaudan Taste & Wellbeing GFI carries a rich heritage of over 250 years in taste. Our global team of sales flavorists technical experts customer service and marketing representatives combine their knowledge and expertise in ingredients including essential oils extracts flavorings and functional ingredients. GFI is committed to serving flavor houses worldwide supporting creation needs with flexibility and agility.

We are looking for an experienced sales/business manager/leader trained in the North America Food and Beverage industry with flavor and ingredient account management and team development experience; to manage P&L responsibilities business/function leadership people development responsibilities and complex customer base with a book of business. You will report into the Head of GFI and will have 3 Senior Level Sales Managers reporting to you.

  • Bring Your Passion: Monitor market and grow sales (including Key Performance Indicators and budget) within the region taking corrective actions to ensure sales goals are achieved. Develop Annual Business Plans to increase sales growth and profitability for key accounts with greatest potential. Develop partnerships with key accounts including relationships with senior level management. Ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships with all customer decisionmakers and influencers including customer senior managers across all teams

  • Leverage the very best you have to offer: Manage Sales Team with full account and business management responsibility to protect and grow assets for designated accounts. Initiate Manage Monitor and Close key projects / Sales with customer (external and internal) Technical Marketing and Sales divisions. Ability to engage Account Management teams in building and periodic reviewing of Annual Business and Action plans.

  • Drive Excellence Everyday: Manage all pricing negotiations and activities within the country segment category. Thorough understanding of F&B / flavor / ingredient landscape for North America. Thorough knowledge of key account/segment/region/category including market general business climate competitive landscape financial potential decision makers.

You

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management Food Science Supply Chain or relevancy to our business and this role
  • 10 years of successful experience in Sales Marketing or Customer Relationship experience in Food& Beverage industry
  • Flavor and ingredient experience is an added plus.
  • Progressive Leadership roles within your career
  • Experience leading people and negotiating with customers.
