Overview:


This position is eligible to receive a $20000SignOn Bonus.

5 X 8 hours shifts

Rotating weekends holidays and call


Job Description Summary:


Performs specialized diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images.


Job Description:


Essential Functions:

  • Operates and maintains specialized radiologic equipment to produce highquality images for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Prepares patients for procedures by explaining the process positioning them correctly and administering contrast agents as required.
  • Monitors patients vital signs and responses during procedures and intervenes as necessary to ensure their safety and comfort.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan and execute complex interventional procedures such as angioplasty and stent placement.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records of procedures patient information and equipment maintenance and usage.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols and infection control procedures to minimize risk to patients and staff.


Education Requirement:

Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.


Licensure Requirement:

  • Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
  • Current ODH License required


Certifications:

Current CPR Certification required.


Skills:

Excellent communication and organizational skills.


Experience:

  • Two years of clinical experience in Radiologic Sciences required.
  • One year of Interventional experience preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric setting preferred.

Must be able to move or reposition patients of any weight or size with the assistance of another person(s) and/or equipment.
Applies the principles of body mechanics in lifting or moving patients and/or equipment.
