Job Description

SVkids OneYear Ministry Residency Severns Valley Baptist Church

Are you called to childrens ministry Join us for a transformative year of ministry mentorship and handson leadership development through the SVkids OneYear Ministry Residency. This program is designed for individuals who feel called to invest in the next generation and desire deeper ministry training within a gospelcentered Southern Baptist church.

Position Type:

OneYear Residency
PartTime: Up to 30 hours/week

What Youll Do:

Serve in all aspects of SVkids ministry (birth5th grade)
Help lead weekly programming VBS camps and special events
Assist in curriculum development large group teaching and small group leadership
Recruit equip and encourage volunteers
Build relationships with kids and families providing spiritual encouragement
Support discipleship initiatives and help foster a culture of multiplying disciples
Participate in regular team meetings leadership training and planning sessions

What Were Looking For:

A spiritually mature believer with a strong walk with Jesus
A member or active participant in a Southern Baptist church
Someone who is teachable dependable and ministryminded
Experience working with children or in a church setting is a plus
