Provide presales technical support helping the sales team offer the right solutions for customer applications.
Build market intelligence on products applications and peripheral solutions such as motors batteries chargers telematics and autonomous systems.
Conduct competition analysis and comparisons sharing insights with product management teams.
Application Engineering and Development:
Provide handson technical support and guidance during system integration and validation phases.
Develop customerspecific applications for the markets Curtis serves.
Collaborate with Curtiss global application development team to align on engineering and development needs.
Learn and develop marketspecific solutions tailored to customer requirements.
PostSales Support:
Handle postsales customer services including troubleshooting and technical support.
Visit customers onsite to provide field service support and ensure timely issue resolution.
Warranty and Failure Analysis:
Provide technical support on warranty related topics to internal teams to ensure timely resolutions.
Support field failure investigations and collaborate internal and Curtiss global Failure Analysis (FA) team for rootcause analysis.
Support with details for 8D reports to minimize recurring issues and improve product reliability.
Customer Relationship:
Build strong relationships with all customers acting as a technical consultant on their issues.
Conduct online meetings and inperson visits for presales application support postsales service failure analysis and courtesy interactions.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor a team of 45 engineers supporting various functions.
Foster a culture of technical excellence A customer service and customer focus within the team.
Plan training programs for self and team to ensure continuous learning and development in both soft and technical skills.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Coordinate crossfunctional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Establish documentation for customer technical support application development service support and field failure analysis ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO requirements.
Develop and maintain technical support materials and training documentation.
