What youll do

Position title: SAP iXp Intern Events Specialist
Location: Montreal QC
Expected Start Date: July 2025
Contract Duration: 812 months
Work Hours: 40 hours per week

• Serve as the main internal events support for the SAP Labs Montreal Office aligning with the national event strategy and teammates in Vancouver and Waterloo.
• Create and manage events for SAP employees across Canada (inperson virtual and hybrid).
• Support in running annual marquee events (e.g. allhands meetings executive visits holiday party summer party) including marketing materials meeting content coordination and speaker preparation.
• Create and manage detailed project plans timelines and budgets and execute endtoend.
• Define project scope and objectives determine a work plan for team members to support events as needed track event performance periodically and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide logistics support for Managing Directors office as necessary: liaising with event suppliers receiving visitors arranging conference calls and coordinating meeting logistics etc.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal partners (e.g. IT Facilities Security) as well as external SAP vendors such as caterers and event companies.
• Other communication/administration duties/projects as assigned.

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills:
  • Fluent in both oral and written English French language is a differentiator.

• Thinks like a marketer when it comes to events.
• Shows initiative and leadership to run projects and solve challenges.
• Event coordination (online inperson and hybrid) and project management.
• Welcomes feedback and suggestions.
• Exercises mature judgement and handles situations with diplomacy and tact. Keeps private or sensitive information confidential.
• Is organized detailoriented and knows how to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent Word and PowerPoint skills. Basic Excel skills.
• Experience with one of the following: Canva Figma Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with project management tools and automations is a plus.
• Has a bachelors degree in (or pursuit of) Business Communications Marketing or equivalent.
• This role is best for someone in their second coop term or beyond.
• Past experience in the tech industry is an asset.
• Willing to commit for a fulltime internship.
