Your Role meaningful & rewarding
- You teamup with our data scientists data engineers business and infrastructure experts to design and develop data/AIbased solutions that can scale and have global impactwithin the corporate.
- You stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data science architecture and engineering.
- You evaluate new data technologies to efficiently integrate latest machine learning solutions and analytical modules into operational cloud services.
- You increase efficiency and timetomarket by implementing reusable artificial intelligence models and datadriven solutions.
- You enhance analytics capabilities by extracting information from diverse sets of structured unstructured batch and streaming data
- You ensure high quality and stability through agile processes and peer code reviews
- You share your ideas and canconvince to go new ways
Your Profile authentic & openminded
- Several years of professional experience in a data scientist or data engineering role
- Firstprofessional experience in energy trading or related activities and a deep understanding of physical and financial energy trading algorithmic trading and its unique challenges
- You have a degree/PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

- Handson coding experience in Python for large data sets; fluency in other programming languages is a plus
- Knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks like scikitlearn PyTorch Azure ML etc. and experience in time series and statistical data analysis optimization algorithms and building models in Python
- Passion for mathematics statistics and problemsolving with a strong motivation to deliver valuable business solutions
- Experience with data transformations in Spark and Databricks
- Familiarity with private cloud or onpremise Foundation Model deployments or stateoftheart processing of image or Lidar data is a plus
- Lean problemsolving mindset with intuition and critical thinking to leverage model registries like Hugging Face and AI tools is a plus
- Knowledge of implementing endtoend pipelines in cloud environments ideally in Azure
- Preference for working with git and CI/CD flows; knowledge of Azure DevOps is a plus
- Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to adapt style and explanations to the audience
- Enjoys collaborating internationally and across cultural borders
- Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
- Extensive knowledge of the energy industry is a plus
- Experience with visualization tools like Power BI Graphana Streamlit is a plus
- Background in consulting is a plus
