What youll be doing (and why youll enjoy it)
Youll take the lead in designing highend commercial and industrial solar systems ensuring compliance with industry regulations and engineering best practices. Your role will involve conducting site inspections preparing project budgets creating constructionready drawings and handling all calculations required for utility approvals. Youll simulate system performance support commissioning activities and address engineering issues during operations and maintenance. As a senior team member youll guide and review the work of junior engineers project engineers and interns ensuring the highest standards are met across all designs. Your contributions will directly impact the quality and performance of renewable energy systems across South Africa.

What youll need
You hold a PR Eng registration with ECSA and a formal qualification in Electrical Engineering. You bring significant experience minimum 5 years in designing renewable energy systems with excellent knowledge of relevant codes standards and design software. Youre confident working across multiple projects and disciplines possess strong leadership and decisionmaking skills and enjoy mentoring junior team members. Your attention to detail and ability to manage time and resources effectively will set you apart.
