Provides professional accounting activities for a mediumsized agency with multiple field locations and programs that support the Wyoming Military Department (including the Air National Guard Army National Guard Star Base Benefits Programs Camp Guernsey Training Site and 19 Army National Guard Armories around the State).

Provide fiscal guidance to personnel by interacting in numerous Cheyenne locations Camp Guernsey and approximately 19 field locations on proper preparation and submission of documents travel PCard procurement procedures and submission.
Perform monthly audits of utility billings for various locations statewide.
Exercise judgment in resolving fiscal issues identified through independent research and analysis.
Cancellation and replacement of checks.
Coordinate purchasing processes for purchasing contracts service contracts Military Construction projects purchases of goods and services to support the maintenance engineering and Deputy Directors activities.
Coordinate with Procurement to inquire on bids quotes and contracts.
Ensure that proper budget and accounting codes are used.
Provide quality control on all state contracts and data entry into various systems. Review bid documents and purchasing requests/quotes from state and federal program managers to verify completeness and accuracy.
Monitor and verify receipt of goods and services prior to payment.
Tracking of Major construction projects for state and federal funding.
Service contracts.
Military assistance.
State education assistance to guard members.
Special grant funding.
Manage the fiscal filing systems organization and maintenance to comply with WOLFS and state records management procedures.
Manage bid solicitations and quotations from multiple vendors.
Work jointly to accomplish daily weekly and monthly deadlines and yearly inventory requirements for the agency including FA in WOLFS.
PREFERENCES:
Preference may be given to applicants with 34 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of an accounting technician.
KNOWLEDGE:
Full-Time
