Job Description

POLITICO is looking for a Sales Enablement Manager. This role will lead the development and of strategies that equip the Politico Professional Subscriptions sales team with the training insights and resources needed to drive revenue growth through a valuebased selling approach. This role will focus on embedding a consultative sales culture that emphasizes the unique value of POLITICO Pros insights data and reporting to help policy professionals make informed decisions.

POLITICOs subscription services POLITICO Pro and E&E News provide essential intelligence and tools to policy professionals navigating federal and state policymaking. Almost 30000 policy professionals rely on POLITICOs subscription services to help them stay informed quickly act confidently and communicate effectively.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead Sales Training & Onboarding: Develop and implement onboarding programs to ramp up new sales hires quickly ensuring they understand our product offerings value propositions and ideal customer profiles.
  • Drive ValueBased Selling: Train and coach sales teams on positioning POLITICO Pros products in the context of customer needs using realworld scenarios case studies and competitive intelligence to drive customer adoption.
  • Develop Sales Content & Tools: Create playbooks pitch decks competitive battle cards and ROI calculators that help sales teams engage prospects with compelling valuedriven messaging.
  • Collaborate CrossFunctionally: Work with marketing product and editorial teams to ensure sales has the latest insights on product developments market positioning and customer feedback.
  • Optimize Sales Performance: Analyze sales effectiveness track enablement program impact and refine strategies based on datadriven insights.

What Youll Need:

  • 5 years of experience in a sales role sales enablement or sales training within a B2B media SaaS or subscriptionbased organization.
  • Expertise in valuebased selling methodologies and a proven track record of training sales teams to sell on outcomes rather than features.
  • Strong ability to develop sales content (presentations playbooks videos competitive insights) that resonates with government policy and regulatory affairs decisionmakers.
  • Experience using CRM and sales enablement platforms (e.g. Salesforce Highspot Seismic) to drive efficiencies in sales processes.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills with a passion for helping sales professionals succeed.
