Job Description
GARNEY CONSTRUCTION
Garney Construction has an immediate opening for a Marketing Specialist in Gainesville GA. This is a fulltime salaried position with full benefits and participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). We are seeking a selfmotivated individual to join our growing Marketing Team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Evaluate new technologies to determine how to work more effectively and efficiently to meet business objectives
- Manage effectiveness of existing technology to meet business objectives (HubSpot ShowPad Canto)
- Manage Marketing Specialist in daytoday responsibilities; develops talent
- Train Marketing and Operations on marketing/communicationrelated practices
- Oversee vision of overall marketing and communications initiatives; work acquisition initiatives
- Execute strategic planning in support of comprehensive marketing team vision goals and objectives
- Perform benchmarking in designated markets including competition strategic intelligence and market and industry trends
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Bachelors degree in journalism strategic communications marketing or related field
- 5 years of professional experience in communications or marketingrelated field preferably in the A/E/C industry
