Candidates shall perform detailed inspections and complete job documentation using the following but not limited to:
Vernier dial & digital calipers
Surface plates
Gage blocks & length standards
Bore gages (all types)
Tube blade groove and depth micrometers
Thread plug gages ring gages
Height gages
Radius gages
Conduct Deburr Checks
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma GED or equivalent.
13 years of experience with quality assurance mechanical inspection or machining experience from a precision manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Possess experience or willing to learn NDT procedures (MTPT)
Proficient Geometry and Trigonometry skills.

Summary Pay Range:
$48935.00 $73403.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjobrelated knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
