The Interface Engineer III will work with the Relias Solution Architecture Data Services Platform teams and departments across the organization to identify business needs propose technical solutions to evaluate system integration requirements and to develop manage and evolve the appropriate interface solutions. This role will ensure that complex systems work together properly by designing developing and evolving the interfaces process. The Interface Engineer III plays a key role in supporting and maintaining interfaces among the Relias core and ancillary systems.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING:

Ability to develop application interfaces in a cloudhosted environment using services such as Azure Functions API management Service Bus etc.

Develop workflows for bidirectional transactions across systems processing and vendors leveraging the Azure environment and tools like Azure Synapse Analytics

Responsible for designing building integrating data from various resources as well as managing data in both synchronous and asynchronous patterns

Maintaining best practices for access control to transactional data and data quality

Design serviceoriented and microservices architecture implemented in Python

Mentor entry/associate and midlevel engineers

YOUVE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

Knowledge of Azure functions Lambda functions or equivalent

Understanding of the methods and challenges of integration

Basic experience or familiarity in/with the use of data quality technologies

Understanding of operational management and change management

Basic experience or familiarity in/with managing enterprise data assets in a large complex organization

Ability to analyze complex situations and to derive workable actions

Ability to constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the organization

Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to lead virtual crosscultural crossborder teams

Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands shifting priorities ambiguity and rapid change

Understanding of Agile process and familiarity with the Scrum framework

Ability to utilize enterprisegrade CICD practices

Ability to implement and maintain a high standard for code quality and testing strategies

Ability to mentor others

Experience using CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Jenkins)

Experience implementing with Python

5 years minimum experience with unit testing integration testing endtoend tests system testing using tools like Postman or Fiddler

5 years minimum experience with databases and querying technologies (relational databases SQL functions NoSQL databases)

Experience working with REST GraphQL and/or SOAP APIs

35 years experience designing serviceoriented architecture

25 years experience with distributed messaging architectures

5 years of experience writing testing and deploying code to production systems and experience mentoring junior engineers to establish standards for the team

Minimum of 3 years experience as an Interfaces Engineer Software Engineer or API Developer in moving data

Bachelors degree in computer science information science engineering or related field or the equivalent combination of training education and experience. For example graduated from a coding bootcamp and have relevant job experience

IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:

Experience working with product team members to develop requirements to meet business needs

Experience creating interfaces with ERP MAS and CRM systems such as Salesforce SAP Intacct Quickbase and LogicGate

510 years of programming experience with Java JavaScript Python TypeScript or another highlevel programming language
