As the Development Lead for Digital Commerce you will direct a crossfunctional team to design develop and deploy an advanced scalable and modular ecommerce platform. Manage the development of an innovative ecommerce platform

As the Development Lead for Digital Commerce you will be responsible for managing the development and deployment of a composable ecommerce solution based on commercetools utilizing a headless and microservice architecture. You will oversee a crossfunctional development team ensuring that all efforts align with business goals and technical requirements. Your role will involve close collaboration with Product Management DevOps and other stakeholders to define technical requirements project timelines and deliverables. You will also mentor and support team members building a collaborative development environment.

Your role will be to:

• Manage the development and deployment of a composable ecommerce solution based on commercetools.
• Oversee the work of a crossfunctional development team including backend frontend and integration developers.
• Ensure that all development efforts align with business goals and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management DevOps and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and support team members providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews.

This role is based in Chennai and involves coordinating and managing integrations with thirdparty services particularly through the Boomi platform.

Experienced expert with experience in digital commerce

We are looking for a motivated and experienced supervisor who can inspire and guide a team of developers. You should have effective communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. You should be a problemsolver with the ability to solve complex issues and develop innovative solutions. Flexibility and collaboration are key as you will be working in a complex variable environment and will need to manage shifting tasks and technologies.

You also have:

• At least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or relevant experience (Masters degree recommended).
• 8 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend technologies particularly Java and .
• Experience with frontend development using React in a production environment.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservice architectures and headless ecommerce solutions.
• Experience with commercetools or similar composable ecommerce platforms.
• Familiarity with integration platforms like Boomi and experience managing integrations with thirdparty services.
