As one of the fastestgrowing warehousing and logistics companies in North America we are looking for an experienced I.T. SUPERVISOR.
- Install and support all IT hardware.
- Install and support purchased and inhouse software.
- Attending required meetings
- Support the operation on your shift and possibly off shifts as needed.
- Maintain and repair equipment.
- Troubleshoot a variety of system related issues.
- Set up computer security measures.
- Support our computer networks.
- Offer technical support onsite or via phone/email.
- Oversee a small team of technicians.
- Continually audit our systems used in our plant to ensure operations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Business preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of computer hardware and software applications.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to grasp the root issue of a customers problem either in person chat session or on phone.
- 35 years of relevant IT experience and a minimum of 1 year of leadership/supervisor experience.
- Prefer to have prior experience working in automotive warehouse or manufacturing facility.
- Problemsolving skills and the ability to make decisions based on these skills and company standards.
- Ability to work under pressure with little guidance.
- Ability to think logically.
- Able to cover other shifts (night and weekend split shifts as needed)
