Job Summary/Description:
WRDWTV/WAGTTV in beautiful Augusta Georgia is looking for a weekend meteorologist/multimedia reporter.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Producing and anchoring weather forecasts
Content creation for WRDWWAGT Digital platforms (Web OTT APP Social Media)
Special Projects as assigned
Report for outdoor weather and sciencerelated news coverage.
video edit video post video pictures reports from the studio and the community
Qualifications/Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience forecasting and presenting weathercasts.
A degree in meteorology climatology or atmospheric science is required along with skills in the operation of computerized weather presentation systems especially WSI.
Certified Drone Operator is a plus.
