JOB DESCRIPTION
Cloverdale Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Assistant (EA) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning needs fostering an inclusive and faithfilled educational environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education Assistant Certification (required)
- Experience working with a variety of diverse learners
- Strong understanding of strategies to support students with diverse needs
- Demonstrates professionalism and integrity in all interactions
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to take direction well and implement instructional strategies effectively
- Willingness to learn and grow professionally through ongoing development
- A love for the Catholic faith and a commitment to fostering a Christcentered learning environment
- Preference will be given to practicing Catholic candidates
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with classroom teachers and Learning Support staff to provide individualized and smallgroup support
- Assist students with academic tasks socialemotional development and daily routines
- Implement a variety of strategies and adaptations to support student learning and engagement
- Foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment that reflects Catholic values
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of the role
- Participate in schoolwide activities and contribute positively to the school community
