Hiring Opportunity: Akron Ohio
Our client is looking to hire a Structural Engineer for their location in Akron Ohio! Our client provides structural design services for a variety of building projects.
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for various building design managing client relations and the preparation of construction documents.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration
Minimum 2 years of related experience
Analysis and design experience. Familiar with an analysis software such as RISA 3D
Familiarity with AISC Manual and ACI 31805/10
Proficient with AutoCAD
Responsibilities/Duties:
Analysis and design work for structural steel connections and miscellaneous steel (steel and rails).
Must be able to prepare engineering calculations.
Manage Structural Designers and assist Technicians/Drafters in the preparation of construction documents.
Must be able to manage client relations throughout a project.
Must be able to keep a project on schedule and within budget.
