The Role

The Manager of FP&A is an integral role in the Strategic Planning Budgeting and Forecasting process and will be responsible for providing support to Senior Leadership. This role will own the coordination and preparation of the forecasted Cash Flow including meeting with leadership and key stakeholders to understand the longterm organizational implications. Further this role will be involved preparing necessary financial reporting on a weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual basis. This individual will assist in analyzing financial statements and results to be communicated to internal and external leadership. They will assist in preparing analyses and standard reports to Finance management as well as various corporate groups (Internal Reporting External Reporting and Investor Relations).

What youll do

  • Coordination and preparation of the forecasted cash flow model.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting deliverables to finance management and Executive Committee such as CEO Monthly Package Reporting Monthly Cash Flow Reporting Package and share repurchasing plans.
  • Coordinating Finance Business Review process with regards to coordinating meetings and maintaining documentation.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly interest expense and income forecast.
  • Assist with the preparation and validation of quarterly Earnings call scripts and Q&A preparation for Senior Management.
  • Preparation of ad hoc analysis of operating statistics.
  • Directly manage and mentor a senior financial analyst providing guidance performance feedback and opportunities for professional development.
  • Oversee the daytoday tasks of the senior analyst ensuring accuracy in financial reporting data analysis and adherence to deadlines.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment encouraging the senior analyst to contribute ideas and actively participate in team projects and strategic discussions.
  • Conduct regular variance analysis identifying and explaining deviations between actual results and forecasts.

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting with a strong understanding of hospitalityspecific KPIs such as ADR RevPAR and occupancy rates.
  • Proven ability to analyze and interpret financial data providing actionable insights to drive revenue growth and cost optimization within the hospitality sector.
  • Experience in using revenue and expense management software and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle SAP) specific to the hospitality industry along with advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing crossfunctional teams and collaborating with operations sales and marketing to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Indepth knowledge of market trends competitive analysis and risk management within the hospitality industry with the ability to contribute to strategic planning and capital expenditure decisions.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance an MBA or professional certifications such as CPA CMA or CFA are highly preferred.
  • 34 years progressive experience in accounting and financial planning and analysis with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry or a closely related field.
  • Proven track record of financial management budgeting and financial reporting and analysis.
  • Extensive experience with financial systems and tools including ERP platforms like Oracle or Hyperion and advanced Excel skills for complex financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Experience in collaborating with senior leadership and crossfunctional teams to drive financial performance with the ability to present financial insights to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders.
