- Visitor Assistance: Engage with guests in a courteous and professional manner answering questions and ensuring a positive experience.
- Art Protection: Monitor galleries and outdoor areas to prevent damage or theft of artworks and property.
- Situational Awareness: Handle stressful situations with confidence and diplomacy; report any security concerns to a supervisor.
- Emergency Response: Assist in the evacuation of visitors and staff in case of emergencies.
- Gallery Procedures: Conduct routine inspections complete incident reports and maintain a clean and safe environment in the exhibition space.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong work history with demonstrated reliability and attendance.
- Ability to follow museum policies and explain guidelines professionally.
- Strong observational skills and ability to remain alert for extended periods.
- Physical ability to stand for long hours climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding museum security procedures.
- Neat and professional appearance in compliance with uniform standards.

- Thursday: 4:30 PM 9:00 PM
- Friday: 4:30 PM 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 9:30 AM 5:00 PM
This is a parttime temporary position and does not include benefits.
