Job Description:

Seeking a motivated and experienced business development professional with aviation and defense industry experience in commercial and military aircraft missionization and modification. The applicant should have operational knowledge of mission concepts of operations (CONOPS) for VIPSAM aircraft (USAF C32 C40 VC25 C37 and the ability to obtain a Yankee White clearance. The ideal applicant will be required to gain access and build relationships with key stakeholders to include Air Mobility Command (AMC) leadership White House Military Office (WHMO) leadership and endusers associated with the Executive Airlift Mission. The applicant should also be familiar with NC3 platforms and adjacent ISR portfolio equities to include ABMS and RC135 (plus related airborne ISR) mission sets. Due to the nature of the customer and enduser this role requires a polished and seasoned former USAF leader with TS/SCI clearance and ability to qualify for unique special access programs where polygraphs may be required.

This role will perform strategic portfolio shaping take on lead roles during large pursuits and reports to the ISR Sector Senior Director of Business roll requires active shaping of defense budgets and generation of requirements favorable to ISR portfolio strengths. The role will also be responsible for gaining access to key USG stakeholders in the highest levels of government while leading diverse crossfunctional crossSegment teams in engagement of these key stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

  • TS/SCI ability to travel 2550 willing to relocate to Greenville Tx (preferred) or Washington DC

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Prior relevant experience working within the Defense Industry
  • Specific VIPSAM mission experience and broader USAF experience
  • Aircraft missionization modification and sustainment experience
  • Experience building partnerships within the defense industry and with OEMs to drive large aircraft missionization captures
  • Ability to travel regularly 2550
  • Strong experience and network within ISR portfolios
  • Tangential experience in C2/C3 and ABMS/JADC2 initiatives
  • TS/SCI is required. Current active or previously active Yankee White is highly preferred

Preferred Additional Skills:

Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and partners at the executive level

Must have strong leadership organizational interpersonal and exceptional communication and presentation skills (written and presentation) and an exquisite attention to detail

  • Development of impactful messaging white papers briefing material for internal and external customers; effectively engaging those customers

Engage in requirementsbased discussions building & executing strategy & managing resources

Ability to identify and pursue technology and innovation initiatives that align to the VIPSAM and ISR Sectors strategy.

High energy proactive dynamic and committed leader who instills passion in both internal and external audiences.

Strategic agility in shifting easily between the strategic and tactical the conceptual and concrete.

Versed in executive level communications.
