We are looking for a skilled Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Senior engineer to join our team. As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Senior Associate you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining the infrastructure and services in Oracles cloud platform. You will work on various aspects of OCI including networking storage compute security and other related technologies. Your primary focus will be on designing and implementing scalable and reliable solutions that meet the needs of customers.Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and maintain Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements and business objectives.
- Collaborate with architects developers and other stakeholders to design OCI architecture that aligns with best practices and organizational goals.
- Implement automation and orchestration techniques to streamline provisioning configuration and management of OCI resources.
- Monitor and optimize the performance availability and cost of OCI services ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- Implement security controls and best practices to protect OCI environments from security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI infrastructure components including Compute Networking Storage and Database services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and cloud computing technologies.
- Implement and manage networking security and identity and access management (IAM) configurations within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Document technical designs configurations and procedures for future reference
Additional Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Extensive experience designing implementing and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
- Strong understanding of OCI services including Compute Networking Storage and Database.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and automation using Ansible.
- Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP DNS VPN and load balancing.
- Understanding of security principles and best practices in the OCI cloud environments.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications for OCI like associate or professional certification.
