Organization:
SHSOSutter Health System Office Santa BarbaraPosition Overview:
Provides management and leadership and collaborates to ensure compliance with federal and state privacy laws and regulations and the organizations privacy policies and procedures. Is responsible for planning executing and managing a variety of regulatory investigative and educational based projects as an integral member of Sutter Healths privacy program; manages and conducts investigations on regulatory matters and concerns; conducts detailed analysis of current regulatory requirements and provides briefings; and is responsible for drafting and responding to regulatory inquiries.Job Description:
The person selected for this role must live in the Santa Barbara area and come on site to Santa Barata and surrounding facilities as needed for work meetings etc.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelors: Legal Studies Information Management/Security Computer Science Business or Healthcare Administration or related field or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
CHPCCertified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance within 1 Year of hire.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years of recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $64.84 to $97.26 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidates experience education skills licensure and certifications department equity training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
