Introduction to information technology tools to support operational tactical and strategic level processes and decision making in an organization. Business applications and problem solving using spreadsheets databases and collaborative tools. Introduction to specific IT tools used to support operations and decision making within the various functional areas of an organization including marketing sales and customer service human resources finance and accounting. Introduction to business intelligence and performance management concepts and tools.

Requirements:

Must have an MBA or a Masters degree (preferably a PhD) in an area directly related to the applications of information technology for business. Must demonstrate recent professional experience in the area of the course; solid knowledge regarding the use of intormation technologies (IT) in organizations and in the use of IT in the main areas of organizational business knowledge of collaborative communication systems such as social networks along with an excellent knowledge of spreadsheets and data bases (particularly Excel and Access). Must also have teaching experience preferably in the area of information technology for business.
