Essential Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate Cat 777 and Komatsu 785 haul trucks to meet production targets
- Conduct pretrip/walkaround safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
- Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
- Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
- Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
- Lead both safety and production efforts by ensuring compliance with all company client and legislated safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of mining experience is preferred
- Current MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is preferred
- Must have and maintain a valid drivers license
Work Conditions
- Ability to work rotating shift work is essential
- Ability to work overtime when business requires
