EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ISO Environmental Field Technician for a 12week temporary role with the potential for ongoing work in Sydney NSW commencing EarlyMay.
Following on from our successful award of a national monitoring contract with one of the largest transport energy distributors and retailers in Australia Ventias environmental monitoring team are currently seeking 12 Field Technicians located in Sydney to join the team for a 12week period. (Potential for ongoing work)
The role involves monitoring groundwater on petrol station sites. The staff member will need to be adept at working and problem solving independently as work is undertaken solo.
We are also looking for the following skills and experience:
- Environmental/Science/Engineer or skilled trades background
- Located in Sydney
- Aptitude for problem solving independently
- Comfortable working outside during the winter months
- Willingness to travel regionally throughout NSW
- Enthusiastic to learn new tasks
- Comfortable undertaking solo work
The following training requirements are needed for the Field Technician role:
- Must have a Australian Drivers Licence
- First aid or willing to obtain
- Construction and Induction card or willing to obtain
- WPCG training desirable
The successful candidates will need to complete a medical and probity checks for these roles.
