Job Description

Salary/Position Classification

  • $12.00 hourly NonExempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 10 hours per week
  • 100 Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a parttime nonbenefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

The Department of Athletics is seeking qualified candidates who would like to work our 2025 softball skills camps. You will help guide support and improve peoples softball skills from ages ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Department of Athletics is seeking qualified candidates who would like to work our 2025 softball skills camps. You will help guide support and improve peoples softball skills from ages ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade.
  • Demonstrate your expertise and indepth knowledge of the fundamentals of softball
  • Ability to interact with a wide array of socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Work within the policies and procedures of the University environment
  • Operate as a team player within a group
  • Willing and able to follow the directions of the supervisors Work Location: UND Softball Field

    Dedicated to fulfilling tasks in a timely manner

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience with collegiate softball as either a player coach or graduate assistant.
    Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of:
    • Sports skills
    • Teaching and training techniques unique to softball
    • Communication and interpersonal skills
    • NCAA rules

Able to assess strengths of each individual camper and how to utilize them
Monitor and evaluate the softball skill level of campers
Ability to inspire and motivate
Successful completion of criminal history background check (CHBC)
