The Team
The Global Digital and Social Media team helps all Fremantles production companies and licensees exploit their content to the fullest ability across all social media platforms. The team provide expertise on best practice optimisation monetisation piracy and all other facets of social media.
The Role
This is a new position and an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to join the central social media team working across the exploitation of Fremantle repertoire across social media. The successful candidate will be a digital native with a key willingness to learn about the intricacies and new products social media provides a genuine interest in TV and Fremantles catalogue.
Here youll get to:
- Manage relationships with third parties creating content from Fremantles archive
- Research rights positions and source content for Fremantles global channel network using Fremantles archive.
- Work closely with third parties to oversee the reporting for external Fremantle exploitation
- Work across new asset management software.
- Inputting metadata and SEO optimization around videos to drive audience engagement.
- Liaising with production territories globally to source content.
- Ensure that third parties are aware of upcoming shows seasons and holdback.
- Provide third parties with assets and reporting information on upcoming shows
- Assist with adhoc admin tasks and team technical issues.
What were looking for:
- Passion for YouTube Facebook and all social media platforms.
- Passion for TV content.
- Proficient in Premiere Pro/Photoshop or equivalent photo/video editing software.
- Expertise in building audiences and communities around content on YouTube and Facebook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Any additional skills around video and photo editing software are advantageous.
- Experience of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- An understanding and appreciation of FremantleMedia brands.
- An understanding of SEO.
- Experience working with other online video social media and digital platforms (YT FB Twitter Instagram).
- Keen interest in developing brands in the digital space.
