Topics include the estimation (using confidence intervals) and hypothesis testing (including nonparametric methods); correlation and the simple linear regression model (with extensions to multiple regression); and chisquare tests on qualitative data. Must have a Masters degree (PhD preferred) in statistics or in a field of study where statistical methods were applied extensively. Must also demonstrate recent professional experience directly related to the use of statistical methods in business. Must also have teaching experience preferably in the area of the course.
