THE OPPORTUNITY
Michelin has an immediate opening for a Quality Process Engineer who will be responsible for leading and handling optimization of their designated manufacturing process within our facility.
Entry level training is provided by Michelin and will include formal classes and onthejob mentoring under an experienced area expert.
This opportunity will give a new engineer at Michelin an excellent foundation to further a long career with the company as it provides invaluable experience of the industrial daytoday operations at its heart.

This opportunity is in Anderson SC a vibrant growing city less than an hour from Greenville and about 10 miles from Clemson University.
As the largest rubber manufacturing plant in the world with 800 employees our plant produces rubber metallic and textile tissues as well as other technologies for all types and sizes of tires including passenger car light and heavy truck mining and aircraft tires. Every single Michelin tire manufactured in North America contains a product manufactured at our Anderson plant! WHAT WILL YOU DO
Ensure product and process quality by monitoring performance/testing executing diagnostic tests establishing standards and confirming adherence to the standards.
Apply hands on technical troubleshooting skills to existing processes with quality problems.
Lead the application of root cause analysis in problem solving/deviation from standards.
Follow up on process capability take part in ensuring permanent improvements are made.
Mentor production operators and other team members to improve application of manufacturing standards and reaction in the event of deviation.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Experience in industrial quality manufacturing maintenance engineering project or related technical experience is a plus. For Entry Level this can include internship Coop apprentices military service or similar programs.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with suppliers customers and colleagues.
Demonstrated attention to detail and data accuracy in previous work.
Success in working with other people or team to meet a common objective.
Effective problemsolving skills to analyze find the root cause and implement solutions to eliminate/reduce the risk of the problem happening again.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software systems.
