Ferguson has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Business Finance Analyst. This role will provide data driven analysis and support the Finance organization and Executive leadership throughout the organization.
Location:
This is a Hybrid role based out of our Corporate Offices in Newport News VA location in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule; 3 days office / 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Build indepth analytics to challenge and support business decisions.
- Understand and communicate Business trends seasonal factors benchmarking and correlational analysis to identify areas for performance improvement.
- Develop refine and deliver ad hoc analysis financial models and business cases to support a rapidly changing business environment.
- Prepare and deliver reporting to senior leadership and collaborate with departments outside of finance.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for the business for various customer groups and locations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or pending degree) in Data Analytics Business Accounting Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel).
- Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills and comfortable combining multiple data sources.
- Effective and professional communicator comfortable presenting to all levels of leadership.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple high priority projects with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team environment of hardworking colleagues.
- Effectively selfmanage schedule work location (home/office/remote) and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects.

Pay Range:
$3600.00 $5866.30Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
