Responsibilities:
- Oversee P&D operations and assist with linehaul when needed.
- Dispatch drivers for deliveries and pickups optimize routes and review paperwork for accuracy.
- Train direct and coach employees to ensure performance and accountability.
- Achieve daily results by coordinating freight operations and leading team activities.
- Conduct monthly driver safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by resolving inquiries scheduling freight pickups and building positive relationships.
- Trace and track freight to address delays misdirection or other issues.
- Participate in accountability processes including preparing and issuing disciplinary documentation when required.
- Utilize OHFL systems for data entry and problem resolution.
- Perform general office duties and support other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 12 years of experience in a customerfacing role preferably in the transportation industry (LTL experience preferred).
- Strong problemsolving skills particularly in challenging customer situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook); AS400 experience is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
