Territory Sales Manager Outdoor Architectural Products


Location: Indianapolis IN Louisville/Lexington KY Cincinnati/Columbus OH

Base Salary: $80000 $90000 Uncapped Commissions $60000 avg.



Our client a leading designer and manufacturer of highquality outdoor architectural products is looking for a driven designsavvy Territory Sales Manager to grow their business across a key Central Midwest market. Candidates may reside in Indianapolis IN; Louisville or Lexington KY; or Cincinnati or Columbus OH as the territory includes all of these areas.

The companys premium outdoor product lineincluding site furnishings planters pedestrian lighting bike racks bollards and waste/recycling solutionsis widely specified by top landscape architects and design professionals for public spaces commercial projects universities airports and municipal developments across the country.


The Opportunity:

The Territory Sales Manager will focus on growing specification sales within the architecture & design community with an emphasis on landscape architects as well as architects interior designers design/build contractors developers and city/municipal decisionmakers.

This is a specificationdriven consultative sales role that offers a high degree of autonomy with strong backing from a respected national brand internal support teams and an experienced leadership group.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and manage relationships with landscape architects architects interior designers specifiers general contractors and municipal decisionmakers.
  • Secure specifications and drive sales of outdoor architectural products through the design and construction process.
  • Offer tailored design solutions that meet the aesthetic functional and budgetary needs of each project.
  • Track projects from concept through procurement addressing any specification or substitution issues.
  • Collaborate with internal sales support marketing and product design teams.
  • Manage CRM entries project pipeline and sales reporting accurately.


Qualifications (One of the following is required):


  • A bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture Architecture or Design AND 35 years of professional design experience
  • OR
  • At least 5 years of proven sales success in outdoor architectural products site furnishings or a closely related industry


Additional Requirements:


  • Established relationships within the regional A&D and landscape design community preferred
  • Strong communication problemsolving and presentation skills
  • Selfstarter with excellent timemanagement and team collaboration abilities
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory


Compensation & Benefits:


  • Base Salary: $80000 $90000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Uncapped commissions with average annual earnings of $60000 based on performance
  • Mileage allowance

Location Flexibility:
