You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailNXTGEN are working with a leading organisation to recruit a Bookkeeper. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Bookkeeper to take ownership of key financial processes ensuring accurate reporting and smooth daytoday operations. The successful Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records processing transactions and supporting payroll and VAT reporting.
The role requires strong technical knowledge and proficiency in Sage 50
Process and reconcile sales and purchase ledger transactions across multiple currencies (GBP EUR USD).
Manage accounts payable ensuring invoices are processed and payments made on time.
Oversee payroll for up to 20 employees including handling timesheets contracts and pensions.
Review and reconcile HMRC postponed VAT statements.
Assist in preparing monthend reports and liaise with external accountants for yearend adjustments.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Provide administrative support within the finance function as needed.
Previous experience in a bookkeeping or finance role ideally in a fastpaced environment.
Strong knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong problemsolving skills and a proactive approach.
Confident communicator able to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary offered is dependant on experience
