Description of the Role
The Housekeeping Manager at Holiday Inn Express Fargo West Acres is responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping operations of the hotel. This role requires strong leadership organizational skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all hotel areas
- Managing the housekeeping staff including hiring training and scheduling
- Inspecting rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met
- Utilizing computer equipment to assign rooms use email and other items as assigned
- Ordering inventoryand maintaining housekeeping supplies and equipment
- Handling guest inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
This position is subject to a successful background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.
