Summary:
The Facilities Solvent Recover Process (SRP) and Central Electrolyte Storage System (CESS) Asst Supervisor leads the SRP and CESS process teams. The SRP Area will require a total of 4 Asst Supervisors that will each lead a team of associates to support the daily SRP / CESS process. The role will be to lead support mentor and develop the SRP team through daily workload assignments training project management and budget development. The responsibilities for this role include oversite of shift operations equipment processes and material handling.
Responsibilities:
- The SRP/CESS Asst Supervisor will oversee the of SRP/CESS processes utilizing the the plants cell assembly technology and equipment
- Understand upstream and downstream manufacturing processes and utilize that knowledge to make necessary decisions within assigned function.
- Work shift manpower oversite & coordination assignment of daily task and workload.
- Provide daily mentoring and guidance for growth of SRP staff members.
- An understanding of Anode and Cathode mixing will be used while utilizing the humanmachine interface (HMI) to activate the equipment.
- Guide and train LH and contracted technicians to support their growth of skills and abilities.
- Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to both upper management and team members.
- Develop an understanding of and administer the solvent recovery and purification process.
- Monitor and troubleshoot the solvent recovery purification process central electrolyte storage system and environmental equipment.
- Set up and monitoring of the solvent recovery process and central electrolyte storage system HMIs.
- Develop and employ an understanding of bulk material unloading and storage.
- Oversite of the CESS area to load unload sample inspect and preserve necessary chemicals according to department requirements.
- Operate mobile equipment such as a scissor lift fork truck side by side handjack and other equipment as needed.
- Support of SRP utility infrastructure reliability capacity and safety.
- Support budget responsibilities to formulate requests track expenditures analyzing trends.
- Support organizational budgets for capital investment and expense activities.
- Provide technical expertise to meet daily operations targets and production goals.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with associated contract documents codes and regulations.
- Oversite of the contracted Boiler technicians the mange maintenance & repair of the Hot Oil Boilers.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
- 36 years of related work experience
Knowledge/skills:
- Positive attitude open minded and team player.
- Ability to coach/mentor/develop team members.
- Strong subject matter knowledge of industrial utility and infrastructure systems.
- Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrate basic math and reading comprehension.
- Demonstrate critical thinking problem solving attention to detail decision making and troubleshooting abilities.
- Comprehending technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to monitor gauges dials or other indicators to ensure equipment is working property
- Must be comfortable working from heights.
- Multiple types of chemicals and raw materials are used in the production processes in which this role may come in contact
- Effective communication of ideas to gain consensus from individuals or teams.
- Ability to multitask and balance multiple projects simultaneously.
- Working well in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to balance the wants / needs of the customer with Facilities operational requirements.
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Korean language proficiency a plus but not required
