Job Description

Are you ready to take your career to the next level Were searching for a passionate Mechanical Maintenance Technician (The internal job title is Utilities Engineer) to join our highperforming team in a permanent fulltime role. This is a unique opportunity to be at the hart of our operations ensuring the smooth running of critical utilities systems that keep our brewery flowing.

In this newly created exciting role youll ensure the toptier performance and reliability of critical utilities infrastructure within the renowned Tooheys Brewery. From boilers to compressors refrigeration to cogeneration youll be at the forefront of maintaining and improving the systems that keep our brewery flowing smoothly.

Reporting to the Utilities &Process Services Leader. You will work in a team of 5. Your key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

  • Provide expert operational and maintenance support to ourprocess equipment.

  • Develop cuttingedge technical skills and work alongside production teams to troubleshoot and optimize equipment.

  • Lead sustainability projects that reduce the brewerys energy and water consumption.

  • Manage sophisticatedutilities processes while promoting a safetyfirst culture.

  • Supervise contractors ensuring high standards for equipment maintenance.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A mechanical tradequalification or equivalent is essential.

  • Refrigeration and Boiler tickets are highly desirable

  • Experience in decisionmaking in fastpaced dynamic industrial settings/.

  • Brewing or manufacturing experience is a plus but not essential.

  • A passion for sustainability and process improvement is a big plus!
