As a System Engineer (m/f/d) Storage youll be essential in advancing our Syntax Enterprise Cloud ensuring its seamless operation and optimization while supporting backup operations.
These exciting tasks await you:
- You will work in an internationalteam in the storage SAN and backup area of the Syntax Enterprise Cloud
- You operate automate and monitorhigh available storage systems based on NetApp and Pure
- You provide expertise in analyzing optimizing and troubleshootingstorage systems
- Plan and implement migrations firmware and application updates
- Maintain comprehensive documentation
Your Profile:
- Professional experience managing storage systems in large and missioncritical environments
- Knowledge of NetApp products including ONTAP FAS/ASA StorageGRIDand ESeries
- Experience in delivering object storage and S3 services
- Scripting languagessuch as Ansible and Python
- Experience with Pure Cisco MDSand CommVault is a plus.
- Availability on rotating oncall duty and occasional support for customer projects outside production hours (with separate remuneration)
